Tales of moral dread: A lie a 100 times, not the truth

A lie a hundred times, not a truth
A practice of deception
Through deception, suppression of truth
Or a veil over truth, but not for long
All formations impermanent, but not truth
Truth, not a formation, not like a veil
Permanence of the veil; even smaller than a drop in the ocean
Just as the suffering of the animal realm
Through exploitation of animals by denizens of the asurā or the Hungry Ghosts (peta) realm
For petty pleasures and benefits
For momentary pleasures and benefits
In the same manner, a veil over a truth, a petty pleasure or benefit
Likely chances of rebirth in the animal realm
Likely chances of rebirth as a dangar - cattle, the petty-useful, the expendable
With reliance on frequent lies, the kamma-viriya in motion, like a vaṭṭa, a cycle
