The Drop

Growth of a tree bit by bit,

A container full of water, drop by drop,

Every temptation, every Māra plain visit, an opportunity,

If indulgence then suffering, and unwholesome results of unwholesome kamma,

If avoidance, then a forward step, towards the goal.
