Rest for the mind

No simile for quickness of mind

Secondly, a sense object, not just an object in line of sight

Instead, the whole lineage from line of sight to the very beginning of the universe

And the beginning of the universe, an unthinkable

On conjecture upon the birth of insanity

Amidst such circumstances, restless of mind, and rebirth of rāga

Sleep for rest of body, but not mind

What for rest of mind? The meditation

Samatha for temporary suppression of kilesās

Vipassanā for permanent uprooting of kilesās

Also, no Vipassanā without Samatha

Samatha, a predecessor to vipassanā

But Samatha how? Simply focus or rest of mind on one object

Most accurately, without curiosity about or discernment of qualities of substance

Otherwise, same pitfalls like a sense object
